Single Catholics Meet In Rome To Honor Blessed John Paul

The reliquary containing the blood of Pope John Paul II was placed on a pedestal during the beatification ceremony

More than a million people gathered in Rome today to celebrate the beatification of Pope John Paul II, including at least a handful of CatholicMatch members.

Thanks to Tracy O’Dwyer from Dublin for coordinating a special CatholicMatch Pope John Paul II beatification dinner. The group is meeting tomorrow, May 2, in St. Peter’s Square at 7 p.m. at The Obelisk (the spear).

Here’s hoping the attendees have a grand time. (Two of the attendees, Tracy-57589 and Liam-287974, got engaged on Easter Sunday! Our hearty congrats! We can’t wait to read your success story.)

Tell us, how has the future saint influenced you? As a Catholic? As a single?

And speaking of member-planned CatholicMatch events, which one are you planning to attend? The weekend in San Antonio? The 10-day tour of Ireland? The Rocky Mountain Adventure?
