9th Day Of Christmas: Richard Lets God Guide Online Dating

This 50-something from Kentucky enjoys the forums on CatholicMatch.com

Richard is honored on the ninth day of Christmas.

What were the greatest blessings of 2011?

My children, grandchildren, my health and continued employment.

How has your approach to finding a mate evolved?

I have settled into just seeing what God has in store for me. As I was already married for many years, I honestly do not view another marriage as a mission. If the Lord feels I have something to offer to a particular spouse here, He will introduce us.

What’s your CatholicMatch strategy?

I am intrigued by women’s profiles. I look for the extraordinarily written ones. I avoid laundry-list expectations, preferring individuals who can be open minded and courageous, so we can be pioneers together.

Why do you stay on CatholicMatch?

Mainly for the forums. People read like a book, and the forums provide priceless insight into our character and pureness of heart.

What is your favorite Christmas tradition?

Other than decorating my home, I really have none. Because my entire family, including myself, are involved in healthcare, we get precious little time to gather at holidays. When I get out of this racket, I plan to start some new ones.

What is your hope for 2012?

Continued good health and happiness. I am optimistic that some big changes for me are right around the corner. I can sense it. These changes will begin initially as modest seedlings but will burst with growth and life and wholesomeness.

Make a prediction for 2012.

I foresee that scientific community, in a stroke of brilliance, will uncover the ultimate riddle of the ancient Mayan Calendar. This will be the astronomically improbable revelation that the Cincinnati Bengals will win the Super Bowl.
