Your Road To Emmaus

When the two disciples were on the road to Emmaus after the crucifixion feeling disillusioned and afraid, Christ came to them and pretended not to know any of the events that had taken place. Why did He do this? Because He wanted the disciples to talk to Him, to discuss their thoughts and feelings with Him. At the end of their encounter, Jesus revealed Himself to them and their hearts burned with love and joy.

In the same way, you should take time to pray and tell God all your opinions, fears, hopes and concerns and allow Him to reveal Himself to you so that you may experience the burning love and joy that an encounter with Him brings, in spite of the challenges you face. Take time each day to spend 15 minutes with Jesus.
Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you (Matthew 7:7).
